    ok so im trying f/t, and i need to know a good way to thaw it out, they say i could put it in a baggy and run it through out water, which are your ways

    Yeah I put them in warm water now... I used to thaw them using a heater thing I have but I learned the hard way that heating too quickly can lead to exploding rodents when constricted...

    Hot water. I try to keep as tight of a seal on the bag as possible to prevent a waterlogged mouse.

    i just take them outta the freezer and outta the freezer bag and they go into warm water for a couple hours to thaw.
    Once thawed i run them under hot water for a min to bring the temp of the rat up

    What I do is the day before feeding, I put the rodents in the fridge overnight to thaw a bit. The next day I put them in hot hot water for about a half hour or so. I make sure they are dry and warm to the touch before feeding.
