    Locating urine
I use aspen bedding in my python's tank. I know that immediately the suggestions will probably come in to use newspaper, but before I really consider making this switch, what do I look for when I am searching for areas where my BP has urinated? I spot clean the tank daily, but I'm having some trouble locating where he's urinating. Are there telltale colors of the aspen or smell?

I know he has to be going, but I don't know where!

thank you! I thought that I would be looking for something solid- I have seen these- I was just worried about a liquid urine that might be in there that he would be slithering over

There is liquid too, but it's usually right under the solid. My bp produces about a handful of pee pee, and I'm using Repti bark.
