    cleaning out the cage.
    I wanted to spot clean my mouse cage and she had her litter like 5 days ago. I was wondering if it was ok to clean it up a little. I dont her to go crazy and eat the babies.

    I'm not a huge mouse breeder but this happened to me
    about 4 weeks ago. If you don't handle the babies or
    don't remove to much of the mother's scent from them
    you should be fine. Hope this helps.

    Id just pick them up and move them:) IDK if ive just had alot of luck or if I smell like a mouse but ive always handled pinks and have never had a problem with parents then eating them.

    yeah i did so today i just clean as you normally would no beg deal... when you put them back she will redecorate the place...

    As others have said, I've had no problems handling the pinks. I've fostered them out to different tubs. Heck I've even left them in overnight with a snake that decided not to eat and returned it to mom in the morning. Maybe I'm just lucky, too.
