    Dinnertime!
A few pictures from dinner tonight... they were out of rat pups (what my male has been eating), but he had NO problem taking the mouse instead. :gj: Delilah got 2 mice, since we're trying to fatten her up, and she also took those like a champ.

    Gulp!

And some cute non-eating shots of Toby...

Toby says thanks. :) How long has yours been on strike? And what have you tried feeding him? Delilah refused food for 3 weeks when we got her, because it turns out she didn't like the offerings... we were trying live & F/T rat pups, and she only likes mice. Now that we know her preference, she takes any mouse we offer! Toby doesn't seem to care either way - like a typical man, I guess he will eat anything. :P

2 weeks now. I guess it's not long considering, but it's frustrating when you have to throw away a thawed mouse when she doesn't eat it. When I got to the bigger rats, she was scared, so I've been trying mice. She acs like she's hungry, but doesn't eat. Here's hoping for Saturday.

Good luck, and keep at it! We wasted a few rats ourselves, and one even ended up as a pet (until my roommate's dog decided to eat it instead). But once you find what they like, it should be easy from then on... might also check with the experts here on your husbandry, to make sure everything is good.

That has been my project for the last week. :) So maybe she's still adjusting.
