    Substrate
I know most people recommend Aspen for the substrate in the enclosure. I'm using Forest Bed by T-Rex. Is this a good substrate to use? It seems to hold humidity levels well and I like the dark color but aesthetics are not as important as the health of the snake. Thanks.

I am not sure on that one.... I actually use crushed walnut shell... I lvoe the look of it and it is so very easy to spot clean. and does not smell..... I was using carefresh before, but it was not very easy to spot clean and so I was having to do full tnak cleanings oncea week with no spot cleaning in between... also had a wierd smell to it.
