I adore Chinchillas. Worked with the sweetest male back at the zoo that had me wrapped around his paw. :)
Wish I could own one, but A) BF is allergic to furry critters, and B) No room in current apartment.
Keep on enjoying that little bundle of lightning fluff! :D

Argentra, Chinnies don't shed dander. So they're perfect for anyone with allergies. That's why we had our Chins, were both allergic to cats and dogs. I guess that's a contributing factor as to why I have snakes :)

My girlfriend's dad raised chins in the 70s(i think i have the right decade) with a friend to harvest fur.
They look soft.

They are not harvested like llamas or alpacas, chinchillas are pelted.
