    Thermostat question
Have any of you guys heard of the Johnson Controls Thermostat A-419 with night drop feature sold by Reptile Basics? I just built a rack and was going to pick one up, but, I don't want to get something that is a potential problem. I'm currently working with ball pythons will the couple degree fluctuation between it going off and on make any difference? Thanks for your input.

    I use those but they don't have a night drop ( mine didn't) ..
Matter of fact here the entire part number a419abc-1c. I got one on my desk ( second one I need to wire it up) . I found that these work great, aslo can save on shipping talk ot a perosn ( possible a buddy) that works in heating/ac or even possible a electrian they can possible order one. they easy to wire up. I paid 60 for the first one , and 68 bucks for the second one I got the neighbor to order it it saved me a 45 mintue ride. If you get one and need help pm me . I think I am going to do a diy when I wire up my second one. to help people.

I am no expert, but from what I've heard a few degrees fluctuation from on/off thermostats isn't a problem for Ball Pythons. If you are incubating eggs you will probably want to spring for a proportional thermostat, the small fluctuations can be damaging.
