5 or 7 days feed

Is it recommended that you feed every 5 or 7 days. I read majority say that it is 7, but my girl..by the 5th day she is out about lurking for food. Is it safe to do this, or over feeding? She is 7 mo old...I hear they eat less as adults, but am not sure. Thanks!!

Your gunna hear a buncha different opinions. I learned a feeding plan from a LARGE reputable breeder, and thats every 5 days. Until the animal reaches adulthood and then you resume a 7 day to 14 day schedule, depending on what it takes to maintain desired weigh. At 7 months, I would feed every 5 days IF and only IF the animal is healthy, not overweigh, and willingly and aggressively eating.

I feed every 5 days until they are 300 grams and then switch to every 7 days. Make sure you are feeding properly sized meals of 10-15% of the snakes body weight :)

I do 4 or 5 days if its under a year. And as they grow bigger i space the feeding out more. Situation dictates. Every snake is different. If your snake is wandering around looking for food its because it hungry. Feed it. The younger the snake the more it likes to eat because it has a faster metabolism. Be glad you have a snake that likes to eat. Some people wish they were that lucky.:D

I start babies out on a 5 day schedule, and I move them to a 7 day schedule when they start to consistently refuse food on a 5th day offering - usually as a juvenile.

my girl is abt 7mth or 8mths i usually feed it around ever 5days.. depending my girl is such a eater she will never refuse food! :P

Baby/young snake=every 5 days. On adults I feed every monday and of course adults will go off feed sometimes.
