Is this a stupid question to ask a ball python breeder?
For example, would it be stupid if i ask a breeder at a reptile show if he has any ball pythons from any lines?
WHAT WOULD BE A BETTER WAY TO ASK THAT LOL.

What exactly are you trying to ask? If they have NERD or 8Ball snakes or something?

like how would i ask a breeder what blood lines his ball pythons come from?
what if he says that his snakes dont come from any specific blood lines, what would that mean lol.

There isn't much reason for looking for a specific line for a normal. Just look around and find one that you like, definately don't pay more for a line specific normal.

There are really only specific blood lines for morphs like the TSK, jolinoff and VPI axanthic. There is also lemon, grazanzi(sp?) and jungle pastel. They were all produced by different breeders and are all a little bit different.

As for normals, there aren't specific bloodlines because they are so common. There are reduced pattern normals though. That might be considered a "bloodline".
