too big?
does this rat look to big for my BP, they only had small mouses, so i got a small rat, i dont want it to get stuck in him

looks fine, they can open real wide. might leave a lump for a few days :)

Yeah, it looks to be the perfect size to me.
You should probably subdue it before offering it though. Switching from mice to rats can be problematic if you are not very careful about it. I have read lots of threads of snakes being bitten by Rats and then going off feed afterwords and refusing Rats from then on as well.

You really need to get a scale, it will take the guess work out of feeding.

Its best to feed wither frozen or prekill the rat before feeding thats what I did before switching to frozen.

he ate it good, the rat tried to bit him but right wehn he started to construck it, i got the mouth and put m,y tweezers so its all good :)

Good job :gj: a watchful eye when feeding and quick reactions if needed are the telltale signs of good husbandry practices.
Have you watched the Feeding lessons video (sticky) yet?

I'm now glad I switched to this forum community from my old one. I feed live as well, and over there all I got was judgment. I am putting thought into switching to stunned or prekilled. Mas won't even look at a f/t.
