We have some that are like that too. I don't know if they like us really or not but I think some snakes actually do like getting out and exploring perhaps. We have one who I swear checks to see if we have rats/mice any time we come in the door. I believe after eight years, he absolutely can connect the association of us approaching his enclosure with food. My fish do that...

My female pastel does, when she hers my mom in the room. I think it is because everytime I feed her my mom likes to come watch. I bet she thinks it is time to eat.

hahaha my pastel male does that. As soon as I come into my room and turn the light on, his little head slowly peaks out and starts looking for a way out of his tub lol

these 2 rescue I got on my desk in qt go nuts while iam sitting at th computer desk want me to take them out all the time. I also seen it in some of my other snakes they think me comingin the room is either eating time or cage cleaning ( since i just about got ot do it everytime i check on them )
