Snake not eating... not your typically story

So i know that most older females will go through a feeding hiatus but two of my normal females are scarying the cxrap out of me. I aquired them about 2 months ago and they have not eaten since i got them. If that was the end of the story then i wouldn't be too worried. However, the last recorded feed that the guy i got them from had was in October. That would make almost 7 months to me thats pushing the hiatus idea. I have checked my temps and they all seem to be close to normal. I started to mist the tubs more to get the humidty higher thinking that might be an issue. Recently i was reading some old post by BHB and Brian stated that soaking the snake in some shallow water with a heat pad under the tub for 4 days will make them good as new. Does that sound right to everyone, not that i doubt what Brian says because he's one of the best but i just need some others to agree before i put her in a tub for four days

What are you offering as prey?
How often are you offering prey items?

What are the chances that these girls are wild caughts? Or rather, where did you get them?

One female has lost 47 g. in 1.5 months since i have gotten her. The second female has lost 32g. since i got her in the same amount of time.

As for food i have been offering them a mix of F/T and live, all prey has beenm small rats. Mark Corbin is who i got them from, he's a good friend, he had them eating med to large rats live. As how often i would say im doing consistent, when i see they aren't interested them i wait a few weeks to try agian. Is that good or bad?

As for where did her get them, im not sure. I know that one came from Ben Seigel but not sure about the other. Would soaking them for 4-5 days over a heating pad work??

Are you pre-scenting ? If not try for a half to an hr of prescenting. I have a normal that will only eat after prescenting and it has to be live in the dark. And if shes spooked in any way it takes a little longer. Al my mutations eat anything day or night and are fearless. I could feed them toast while their sitting on my shoulders if i had too. I think my normal is W/C even though i was told she was CB.

Who recommended soaking for that length of time?

It seems a long time to keep her skin that wet and I'd be worried about causing problems doing it.

Raising humidity I can see just not to that extreme. :(

My female hasn't eaten since September last year. This is normal for her. SHe typically goes on 9 month long fasts. She'll eat every week anything I put in there for 4 or 5 months and then she shuts down for about 9.

It may just be the way they are. I'd only worry is the weight loss was rapid for their size.

You could also try live ASF rats. I wouldn't recommend soaking them for that long. I don't understand the logic behind that anyway.

I think somehow you misunderstood Brian, because I think that has to do with shedding, not feeding.

How big are their tubs and what do you have your tub layout like? What are your exact temperatures and humidity?
What time of day are you feeding? Are the tubs in a quiet area during feeding, or are you trying to watch them during the feeding process?

These may sound like dumb questions, because it does seem like you have a good amount of knowledge already, but all of this could narrow down something you could have missed.
