my hand is from middle finger to palm 7in, hes eating a small mouse every 7 days

He can take an adult mouse, even a rat fuzzy

so i dont have a worry, the medium mouse looks so big

Don't worry, a snake that size will have no problem with an adult mouse.

10-15% of the snakes body weight :) :gj:

Jake isn't much bigger and is on adult small rats. I would say moving him up is ok.

A scale is a definite must have item :)

A good rule is the snakes girth at the widest point to be about the same as the girth of the widest part of the rat/mouse hips.
