    What is the chance ?
Hello, if I breed a 100% het Piedbald male to my Normal female, the babies will be all 50% het piedbald. If I breed those babies back up to the father, what is the chance of producing a piebald?

Well, you only have a 50/50 chance that the female will actually be a het. If she IS a het, then your chances are 25% per egg that you will produce a piebald. I've done this before and this is why you save ALL the females from the original breeding, you just never know which ones will actually be a het. However this is really the long way around and can take many years to actually produce what you want, it's also the cheapest way to do it so if you have no money and plenty of time, it's the way to go. However, with the way ball python prices have fallen you'd probably be better off buying het females that are guaranteed hets and shave several years off of your project.
