I cant get my bigger normal female to eat F/T no matter what. She was on

only live, so I fed her live two times then tried to switch her to F/T and the

first night she ate it( sit in the tub all night--not out of hand) then

every time since she will not eat but I believe she would eat live... But, I

don't like feeding some live, some F/T, I want to try to get and keep

everyone on F/T. So is there any tricks you have other than force feed?

Would rather not do that, but if I have to I guess I could try, so also what

are your opinions on force feeding(if necessary).

The first thing you need to know is that you do not force feed or assist an animal that knows how to eat on it’s own.

If she has a good body weight you need to use tough love and keep offering F/T without offering live if she refuses.

Some take time to switch some never will and as a snake owner you need to be prepared to feed live if you have to…..again force-feeding or assisting is just not an option that applies to your issue.
