Very crazy eating pattern!

ever since I got my ball he's had feeding issues. for the first 2 months or so he didn't eat. Now he eats 1 meal 3 weeks-a month. He eats right after a shed and that's it.He's a oct/nov hatch. He eats 1 small rat and that's it. he's not as big as I think he should be. At what age do they reach thier adult langth? ( he's in a tub/with 2 hides and a cobra heat matt)

What I have been reading is that many ball pythons can aquire unusual eating patterns. There are methods to try to get him to eat on a more " regular" schedule. Also, is your enclosure set up properly? I believe all snakes will continue to grow throughout there entire life. But in that lifespan, males seem to get 3-4 feet, and females 3-5. Sorry I cant be of more help, but I am sure someone else will be able to provide more accurate information.
