Mounting Radiant Heat Panel in 10G Tank
I recently purchased a 40Watt Radiant Heat Panel from Reptile Basics (advised by Rich at Reptile Basics), for our Baby Pastel currently in a 10G Tank (With a screen top).
I just received the panel, and it is too large for the top of the tank (by about an inch). Has anyone been in a similar situation and has suggestions on the best way to mount this? I was thinking I could possibly somehow mount it to the side of the tank, but I am worried that it would heat up the glass too much for him to touch.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Brandon

Yes. We can't keep up ambient temperatures. Temps in the house stay around 70° all year, and the tank is in our living room, so we don't want to heat the whole room.
This was advised as a better option to a heat light or CHE.
    Thanks,
