    is she stressed??????
hello all i have a High Gold Ball Python names Alexis . her tank is right on for humidity and heat. she has 2 hides and a water bowl, also a branch in it wich she love to sit in and crawwl all over .
she is in that alot at least 60% of the day and mostly when we are awake and in the room . my other ball python doesnot display any of thses actions except every now and then.
a freind says she is stressed
    so my questions are

    1. is this a normal behavior
    2. and is she possibly stressed ?

    thanx

Typically BPs will explore late at night and stay in their hides during the day. Some problems that may cause stress is tank being too large, being in a high traffic area, or poor husbandry in general. It does sound like it may be a little stressed but much more info and maybe pics of the enclosure will help with further opinions.

i have not got a camera yet but she seems to "love" tht branch ALOT . she is in her hide as we speak but she eats normaly and shed just fine the #'s are where they should be .
her "sister" eve is in an identical tank and same conditions and stays in her hide most of the day
