New to the Blood python keeping!!
I have BP's and colubrids, but just had been jonesing for a blood.
And lo and behold at my most wonderful shop in my area, specializing in great snakes and reptiles.
I have yet to name her, as she is in QT as well....
She is a Borneo blood/marble python.
I got her Thurs, and although the shop keeper said she would burrow under the cypress bark/mulch I got there, she didn't. So reading along I got her a hide tonight and to ensure she has great humidity, and adjusting the gauges. I put in a hide after these pics.
And she ate for me.. Love them ASF's!! I breed them myself!
    ANY hooo. here she is.

How odd, my local reptile store is usually quite accurate..
So if a Red Blood.. .how big will she get?

The morph you speak of is true to the Borneo locality. You my friend have a Red Blood, Python Brongersmai. If she is indeed a female, be looking at anywhere between 4.5 and 6 feet in length, and between 15 to 30 pounds as an extreme. My biggest female BLood is 4 years old, 5.5+ feet and right at 16 pounds. I'd be talking to that shop, make sure you didn't pay for a Marble, and paid a "Normal" price.

Can't see the pics at work, any chance she is a cross between Breit and Brongersmai for them to label her a blood/marble?

That would mean she is a hybrid, but like I said, cant see the pics at work. 2kdime knows his stuff though. :gj:

It looks like a Blood to me but, try e-mailing Kara @ bloodpythons.com or go to bloodpythons.com's forum that'd be your best bet :).

This is a BORNEO, notice the difference in color? Also notice the black and white speckling? THAT is what a MARBLE is.

Whether it's a blood or a Borneo or a hybrid, that's a nice STP! Congrats!! I love the color contrast between the silver and red. :gj:
