    would it be okay to use shredded paper as substrate for a bp cage? i cant understand why it would be bad for them i just want to know because when cleaning cages it thought it would be easier but i didnt put any in because i didnt know if their would be any effects:confused:

    What kind of shredded paper? The only thing I would worry about is dust. They make stuff called carefresh, which is recycled crumples of paper. I've heard that carries too much dust for a bp.

    As long as it is dust free, it should be ok. If not I'm sure someone will chime in. Just remember the more stuff that goes from your bp to the glass/tub is harder to clean. :)
