    Pretty photos...
We built the Connie light tent today! Here are some of my first shots using it.

Camera: Canon PowerShot A590IS. Finally starting to get used to the various manual mode settings.
    Program used: Photoshop.

Caspie, approx. 2.5 year old female. "The original sweetheart"

Luke, nearly 2 year old male yellowbelly. Finally I can show him off with these pics. He's getting so big now!

To those of you who suggested the "cold bowl" method for getting them to stay put - thank you. It worked on these two for about 5 minutes. Long enough to snap a few pics. Then they were off! I'll try on the rest of my snakes soon.

Photo nerds: suggestions welcome, and... Is there a slight blue hue to my pics or have I just been staring at the computer screen too long? Also my first go at watermarking.

i like the darker sort of grainy look you ended up with, gorgeous animals :) i love seeing yellowbellies that i recognise as yellowbellies! (those are still one of those morphs i have a harder time recognizing).

As for the tint, i see no blue tint. If you're ever unsure and have a copy of photoshop available, open the image in photoshop, select the eyedropper tool and make sure your menus on the side are on "info" place the eye dropper over any area that should be white -- it should read around 255,255,255 for all 3 color values (red, green, blue). if they are about the same, you have a "neutral" image, if one or two are vastly different, you will have a tinted image.

    :)
