Gravid?

I am in the process of buying a gravid Normal.The lady said before becoming gravid she weighed a little over 2000g now she weighs 1900.Is it normal for a female gravid BP to lose weight?She has been off feed for a month and a half.

Yes, That it why it is important to have them at a good pre-breeding weight

A large snake could take a poop almost that big so the 100 gram weight swing on a big snake is minimal. Wait till she lays, she will loose almost half her body weight.

My concern is why are they selling her? Is she a wild caught gravid? You dont want a wild caught, it will be nothing but heartache unless you are real patient and knowledgeable.

I always wonder why you would breed a snake and sell it gravid? Raises questons IMO

She says she bought the BP as a male and it turned out to be a gravid female.It is not WC it is her husbands BP and he is being deployed in a few weeks and she doesn't want to try to hatch the eggs.
