how many eggs will a bp lay typically?

There is no "correct" answer. Some can lay as few as 1 or 2 and some can lay large #'s. The most I have had is one clutch of 8 and that was out of a 2500g female, my smallest clutch I have had was 3 (but one of those was a slug). I am not sure what the largest clutch has been, but it would be nice to know

i feel very lucky because my first clutch ever was 8 eggs and they are all good (knock on wood) they are in the incubator as we speak. Girl was about 2300 grams and is a first time mom

Varies so much..........last year my 1800 gram het ghost laid 8 eggs.....no complains from a girl that small.......I read somewhere someone with a monster female had 17 eggs.......Believe it was a 5000gram plus female....:rolleye2:

I had a first time mom lay 6 eggs this season. she was right at 1500g when I started breeding her, and she got up to 1800g before she ovulated.

I had my first clutch ever this year, 9 eggs no slugs. 2000+ female. :D
