I'm so jealous! Penelope hasn't eaten since December 9 and it frustrates me that she's losing weight (not much, but she was sooooo close to 1300 grams). I hope she gets hungry soon! Those frozen medium rats are burning holes in my freezer :) The babies are plowing through their small rats, you think all the eating would get her in the mood!

I hear ya! My rescued pastel male, SunSpot, hadn't eaten since Jan. 6th! And he finally took the mouse tonight!:banana:

Heck, even my Amel corn male, who has only eaten one other time since December, ate tonight. AND it was double new - FT(normally took PK) and a rat pup(used to take mice)!

Congrats to you for the feed as well! It's really great. :)

I dread the day mine go off food. It is a scary thought. Good to see they are starting to eat again. :)

:) Nothing scary about it...unless they lose a lot of weight quickly. It's just a mature BP thing. As long as they're doing everything else as they always do (hiding, shedding, etc) and not losing weight too fast, they're fine not eating for a few months. Don't dread it or it'll be even worse when it does come. :)
