    5ft boa & 4ft ball...craigslist add..
So, I'm looking through craigslist and I saw something about a boa and a ball. Figured Id check it out...As I'm reading it I see that the seller will only sell them together...I think to myself, "hrm, thats odd, its almost like they were in the same tank or something." Reading on, I'm shocked by the claim that they've been living together...for FIFTEEN years. Anyone see a problem with this?

I'm not just talking the "housing a boa with a ball" or the "they have different needs" or even "hey, thats wayyyyy too large of a size difference". ........ But HOW is a fifteen year old RTB barely out-sizing a ball python?!?!?! I smell a scam!!!!

I just sent him an e-mail:

"Wow! What type of boa and ball python are those!

I have never seen a dwarf columbian or bp like that before.

Are they still available? I am very interested.

Also have they been in your care for the past 15 years?

    Thanks,

    Derrick."

I cant believe he is trying to say they are 15 years old.
    Unbelievable.

If it's a large female ball and a small male boa, I'd say it's possible. I have a coworker who's boa is older but only 5 ft. long. It was malnourished when it was younger.

Oh trust me, I know! Copious amounts of boredom lead me to look for fun every once in a while. You can always find something ridiculous on there!

Well, Dundee, kinda my point on that. Either it's really malnourished (yet "it feeds well"), or he's just lying to pawn off his problem, or even someone else's for that matter, if ya catch my drift.

I still don't think I've seen animals anywhere near as poor of conditions as they do at that serpent safari place in the outlet mall in northern IL (or is that WI, it's so close to the border, I can't really remember) Surely most of you have heard it, if not, google it, and see how many results are posts on forums to the effect of "I have NEVER in my LIFE been so appalled at the conditions in which animals were kept!"

    /rant (sorry!)
