Okay I know tubs are best for keeping humidity up etc.. However, that being said, I have a 20g. glass terrarium:D

So going off of what I already have, I am wondering if it is okay to put a small reptile heat pad under the tank and ceramic water bowl in order to raise the humidty???? If it is okay to do that, do you just place the tank directly on the pad? I just want to make sure I do this safely for my bp;)

Oh and would putting a regular old humidifier in the room help raise the humidity as well? I assume you would just place it close to the terrarium?

if you get a UTH you will also want to get a thermostat of some sorts to make sure that it doesnt overheat and burn your snakes belly, not a pretty site.

if you want to up your humidity without getting a humidifier, throw some aspen in there and get a larger water bowl. also make sure you are using a dependable gauge for that like an ACU-RITE thermometer.
