Stuck at 70% humidity not sure what to do.
I've tried putting more holes in the tub, using a smaller water dish, and paper towel is substrate. I just cant get the humidity below 70 percent :( Hot side is 90, cool side is 80..any ideas? :(

I would say more and more holes until the humidity drops. You just need to get the ventilation going and get some of that moisture out.

Yo this is what I use with a dimmer switch to control the pump and how much air it's pushing into the tank. Depending how high I have the dimmer switch set it it will keep it about 55%-60% humidity consistantly usually at half way up.

I had the same problem. The answer..... Holes, holes, holes, oh yea.... And more holes. If you get to many holes you can always plug them with tape(only on outside of tub) snakes and tape don't mix.
Re: Stuck at 70% humidity not sure what to do.
okay I will try more holes..but the thing is...even when I take the lid off the tub, even for around 20 minutes, it stays around 69 -70 percent.

Do you think that means the humidity in the room is 70 %>?
Re: Stuck at 70% humidity not sure what to do.
What means are you using to measure the humidity? Digital or what? Sometimes the sticker type hydrometers are off.

Take your hygrometer out of the enclosure and just leave it in the room near the enclosure for an hour. Does the humidity drop then? If not, either your hygrometer is broken, or your room humidity is high also, in which case holes won't help at all.
