    Follicles
My female BP is approaching sexual maturity any year now. I'd like to keep an eye out for infertile eggs, so I can get her to a vet asap if she becomes eggbound.

Anyways, any tips on feeling egg follicles?

    Thanks.

Unless you are breeding her to a male, don't worry about a clutch. Ball Pythons don't lay eggs unless they have breed with a male after a cool down period.
    Hope this helps

Really? I thought they could lay infertile eggs.

I believe they can, but it doesn't happen often. There is also some evidence that they can do parthenogenesis.

However, I believe the previous response was accurate enough in the sense that you don't need to worry, because both of these are rare.
