    Meet my new Bull Snake
I am not sure of his background, but he was at a wonderful local reptile store and I have wanted a bull snake since I was a little kid.
I grew up in Nevada, with the desert as my back yard. I found a bull snake as a 5 yr old and it was huge, I found a cereal box and put it in it and took it home.
Then said the universal saying. "It followed me home, can I keep it?"
Of course not, but I have always wanted another one.
    So here he is.
Meet "Bull Shannon" from night court.

Awesome snake. I grew up on a ranch in southern Arizona, and my mother was not fond of all the bull snakes that "followed me home" either!! I was allowed to keep them for a few days, basically until it was time for my Mom to vacume my room, then the snake had to go. My 9 year old daughter must have gotten her interest in snakes from me, so I bought her a BP two years ago. She is VERY fond of her, and proudly shows her off to any who enters our house, snake lover or not!!!

Yeah, those markings always made them look a little pissed. I loved how they would coil and "rattle" EVERY time you went to pick them up, but then settled down right away when handling them. Does a Bull that has been kept for a while settle down?
