Breeding age

I have a question concerning the age/weight for breeding of a female corn. What is the optimal age/wt to begin breeding a female corn? We have a 1 1/2 year old female at this time, and are concidering breeding her in the future if we can locate the "perfect" man!?!?!

Three feet and three hundred grams, and I don't breed until their 3rd winter.

I dont go by the rule of 3... i have found over years of breeding that corns will breed when ready.
I dont for one minute believe that they can rape each other, so if the female isn big enough,she simply wont breed..
I have had one eggbound, a 600 gram female.. for me this is too big, i like mine to be more slender, around 400 grams but will go down to 250 if the underbelly is strong enough..
Have a nice amount of egg in the incubator, so hoping for some real stunning stuff this year.

The rule of 3s(3 yrs/300g/3 ft) is a good estimate for breeding age/size requirements, but no two snakes are equal and it takes experience to learn the particulars of different snakes of the same species.

How large do the males need to be before you should introduce them to females? Do you follow the three rule again for them?

I usually like to shoot for 200g+ with the males. They can breed as small as 100g, but usually fertility is reduced.

my smallest ever was 80grams, but that was total fluke.. funnily enough tho, all eggs wre fertile and all hatchlings ate 1st go and lived.
i have used a few smaller males this year, smallest at time of mating was a 147 gram boy.. smallest successful anyway.
