breed temp vs. not breed temp
so how do you that keep all of you bp's in the same room keep the temps where they need to be. Like, if you need to drop the temp for the breed cycle for 1/3 of your snakes, and then the rest of the snakes you do not plan on breeding. So do you still just drop the temps and the rest that aren't being bred just have to deal with it. Because I know that you cant really drop a temp in a breeding rack to lets say 84, then all the tubs around it still being at around 90. So if you plan on breeding, the cycle still goes for the ones that are not being breed??? please help. So confused:confused:

I don't cool often, but I have before...

Lower it to 85 from November to February.

Raise up the temps in March back to 90.

I do not not cool, but if I was going to cool, this is how I would do it. I have three racks, 2 32qt, and 1 CB70 rack. I have two thermostats. During this season, I only bred one female to one male, so I put the male and female into different tubs in the CB70 rack. If I was going to cool, I would simply attach the 2nd thermostat to the CB70 and have the other thermostat running the other two.

So basically if you only want to cool some of your snakes, they need to be in seperate racks from the others and hooked up to a seperate themostat.
