i usually say the minimum size should be 16" x 11" for an adult gecko housed singly.

babies, can be housed in shoe box sized enclosures until about 5 months.

i house all my geckos individually, even the babies. it makes it easier to monitor how much everyone is eating, and if someone goes off feed it makes it more immediately noticeable, without the lizard having to "look skinny" before i know its not eating or soemthing is wrong.

Babies can be housed in the small plastic shoe boxes or in medium critter keepers. A single adult needs a 10-gallon sized area, tub sizes can vary and the best thing is to is make sure the area of a 10 gallon tank is met. When housing groups add 5 gallons of space for each adult and babies it is just unwise.
