I read a post where someone said use 1/2 cup peroxide to one gallon of water to help heal mite bites and small sores. The post said to put the BP in the solution. Has anyone done this and does it help or hurt the BPs?
    Thanks Mike.

I haven't heard of it for mites or small sores, but I have heard of it being used to treat scale rot. If you make a gallon of it, I'm not sure I'd use the same amount. Just use enough that it comes about halfway up the side of the snake so it can keep it's head out of the solution.

No. Peroxide kills harmful bacteria, but it also kills good bacteria and can harm living tissue.

Betadine solution, mold soap and water, chlorhexidine, all would be much better choices.

    No peroxide...
