moved big baby to tub and she hates it
My big girl got mites, so I got the PAM and reptile relief. I moved her from her big tank (where she'd been for 3 years and eating like a champ until the mites) and put her in a tub. She is not acting like herself at all. She turned the water bowl over during the night and this morning, she and everything else were soaked. When I went to get her out, she snapped a bit and tried to hide. This is not her at all.

I have her big tank treated, I'm wondering if I should put her back in it and let her be. I know so many of you recommend tubs, but this girl is miserable.

Once you treat the enclosure with Provent a mite (minus the water bowl) and the surrounding area, I would lay down paper towels and a water bowl and put her back in the cage. Leave decorations out and soak them in a bleach solution (10%) and let them dry fully, get rid of porous things like wood. I would treat them with PAM too just to be sure there are no eggs there. (But not the water bowl!)

Make sure its dry before you put her back in. You should be fine.

Maybe she needs time to adjust to the tub, I would think it's like bringing home a new snake, they need time to adjust and acclimate.

If she is doing well in the large cage, then I would just keep her in there. If you do decide to move her into a tub, then I agree with the poster above, she just needs a little time to get used to her new environment.

I would get her back in the tank. I have had the exact same experience with three of my largest females. I tried to move them to tubs and after a few very frustrating months had to move them all back to their tanks again. They are all back on track now.

I agree, anytime you put a BP in a new enclosure they made become very insecure and need time to adjust.

along with being moved to a new enviroment, having mites puts a snake under sometimes a high amount of stress, that would put most skakes on the defensive/aggressive side.the water bowl being spilled was prob from her entering or exiting for soaking if she still has some mites. i would wait her out sometime and see what happens.
