Quention about Kenyan Genetics.
First of all, I'd like to thank Jon at AZ Reptile Center. Still the best shop in Arizona.
So I just bought a Kenyan Sand Boa. She's Het for Snow. My question is: If I bred her to an albino, could she produce albinos? Since snow is a combo of anytheristic and albino. (I think)
Thanks in advance. Oh, and here's a shot of her.

Re: Quention about Kenyan Genetics.
Good lookin girl there!
I'm new to kenyans, and i'm afraid i can't answer with knowledge, only a guess.
i would think that albino x snow het would = albino, het albino+possible het anerthrystic... half and halfs.
this is under the assumption that het for snow = het for albino and anerthristic.
aint genetics great? :P
Re: Quention about Kenyan Genetics.
Yes,
If bred to an Albino or Het Albino, she could produce Albinos. Albinism in Kenyans is recessive (as is albinism in most reptiles). However, remember that Albinos and Paradox Albinos are not compatible. Paradox albinism is genetic (recessive) in Kenyans.
Hope that helps,
