    Corn sheds
I have an albino corn snake. Do their eyes turn blue as well? Ira's eyes look different. Not really blue but they're not red like they were. More like purple'ish maybe. He was a little lethargic and ate today but a bit slower than his normal self. Usually he's gobbling down before I get the second pinkie in the box, today he sniffed around before he went to his food. His last meal was the 28th, so he should have been hungry.

The snake in the picture looks to me to be in blue. I have to be honest with you though, I have 2 snows and its tough to tell when a lighter colored snake is in blue, you have to look really carefully at the eyes.
I have a heck of a time telling when the snows or my blizzard are in blue.

It's the same with my lavender and amel corns. :) You just look for a milky appearance...that's really all you can do. Most of the time you just find a nice surprise shed one day.

His skin kind of looks like a purple too, as opposed to the reds I'm used to.

It'll get more obvious with experience. When got my first snow 15 years ago, I couldn't tell if he was going to shed, but now its easy for me with pretty much any corn snake. Sounds like yours is going into blue, if he does shed, then you 'll have a good idea what to look for next time!
