    Which is better and why?
    i was wondering how does flex-watt heat tape works i've been using a UTH...but most people tell me flex-watt is better...and i was wondering in what way is it better does anybody know...

    I think most people prefer flexwatt because it is cheaper to use to heat a larger number of snakes. It comes in a roll by the foot and costs about $2.50 a foot. The tricky part is wiring it so you can plug it in.

    UTH's are basically just pre-wired flexwatt.

    If you order Flexwatt from reptilebasics.com they will wire it for you. If you have a good thermostat then Flexwatt is the way to go.
