    So...uhhhh
This is bothering me. My vet told me to give it a couple more weeks until I try bringing her in...but I wanna know what you guys think...

My 15 foot Burm has not ate....since early November. And even then, all she had was a smaller sized guinea pig. (my local shop was out of rabbits, and this pig was all they had).

She has no signs of illness, cage is fine, etc. The rabbit I have for her Ive been trying to feed every week since about two weeks after the guinea pig...and she acts like she wants NOTHING to do with it. She'll sniff it, flick her tongue at it, etc...but has never even came close to striking.

I understand they go off feed and all that but 5 months is not right, i dont think? The vet said it's due to winter and all that, but in the 4 years Ive had her, the longest "off-feed" she has went was a month. Any help is appreciated.

Sometimes they just go off feed. As long as she is not loosing alot of weight I would not worry to much about it. I had a female green anaconda go almost 8 months without eating.

wow. no she definately hasnt lost wait. She has shed twice since all this started and everything. I havent been too worried about it but 5-6 months is a long time, and starting to get to me. I think im gunna get her another guinea pig and see if the "change" works again

Just keep offering her food. Try different prey items. She will come back around sooner or latter

Try another guinea pig-burms love guinea pigs. If she hasn't been with a male then she should not of stopped eating which leads me to believe she wants one.

I wouldnt be worried about it. I have a 5 year old male burm that only eats 3-4 straight months out of the year and then fasts and he's fine.
