Re: New female zebra jungle
nice... i need to get a zebra off you guys if you have any for sale... and if my budget allows for that sorta thing.
Re: New female zebra jungle
Good deal!
What's that subgenus? Never heard of that...
*EDIT* I thought it was a carpet python subgenus...
Re: New female zebra jungle
Thanks guys. They are pure Morelia spilota cheynei, just a pattern morph of the jungle carpet python. The super is a yellow patternless jungle carpet. That is the main reason we picked this girl up, to produce super zebras with our male zebra jungle.

Re: New female zebra jungle
Good luck on producing those supers :D
Has anyone in the US produced supers yet? I've only come across supers being mentioned in the UK.
Re: New female zebra jungle
Very nice. As far as I've heard supers are only in the UK.

If you don't mind me asking, how do you know they're pure?

How do you know jags are pure? It's a morph found only to occur within a subspecies. (yes, I'm aware of the coastal jag debate) Jags/coastal Zebra/jungle Granite/Irian Jaya Wonder what morph will come from diamonds. You get other types of morphs by breeding to that subspecies.
Re: New female zebra jungle
Zebras are pretty sure to be pure as I believe there has been no documented outcrossing to other subspecies.. and I think they can be traced to an original WC individual?
I'm still relatively new to all morelia so please correct me if I've mis-spoken.
