    My own Caresheet
One day I got really motivated to write all of the knowledge I have gained off of this site into my own care-sheet for ball pythons. I have been debating whether or not to post it for a few weeks now because it isn't completely finished. I still want to go through and add links and product recommendations with pictures and all that jazz.

I would like your opinions of what you think is good/bad or needs to be changed (even typos, I miss that stuff all the time). Or just tell me what you think!

It can be viewed at this link: http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dd8drtvx_5c3shkdc6

    Thanks everyone :)

pretty good really aside from a few grammer errors and a few mispelled words. just have a few people proof read it and you should have a really nice caresheet.

Thanks, I wrote it on a computer with no spell check or grammar check so I missed a lot. :)

    Ditto!
Looks great outside of spelling errors. :gj:

To be honest in a constructive way, the language could be polished and revised for clarifications and expanding on certain important aspects. (i.e. stuck shed remedy, how much weight is too much to lose in a fast?, how to kill a rat for p/k etc etc...)

Your list at the end about symptoms regarding illness was very loose, and the explanation for mouth rot can't really be combined with scale rot.... not thoroughly discussing and explaining what, why, when and how, for illnesses.

It felt very rough and light on the explanations, but it's a start. I guess I personally felt mentioning every little thing that can go wrong, but not discussing the issue in it's entirety left the text feeling very rushed and informal.

I would recommend reading VPI's book on the care for ball pythons and NERD's book to give more detail to your caresheet. Some of your pointers we're a little vague feeling.

Other than that, I would say you have a very good base to begin with, I would like to see it revised and expanded, you would have a great caresheet. :gj:

That was a problem I was having. I was unsure how in depth to go. I recently flipped through dave bakers book and it was probably the greatest book ever when it comes to everything ball pythons.

I guess I just have to find that happy medium between caresheet and book. I don't want to write 50 pages about ball pythons because then no one would ever read it. I want it to be shorter so it can be read quickly. But then it is hard to explain everything without it becoming a huge wall of text.

It still needs some work :) Thanks for the advice! This is like a super raw first draft

I have heard when people mist the reptibark while the snake is in shed, they have noticed a scale discoloration.

It goes away after the shed though.
