What site for F/T mail orders
I was wondering what site has the best rates for frozen feeders. The only place I can get them here is petsmart and it's like $10 for 4 mice! Also how much is shipping. I am thinking that is where the $ will get me.

I used to order from Mice Direct but I'm not happy with them.

Now I ordered from Big Cheese and shipping was less than $20 because they're in Texas!

A lot better and better looking rodents.

i have had very good experiences with rodentpro.com. occasionally they run specials and you can get mice/rats/whatever for pretty cheap. I'll check tomorrow how much my last order cost including shipping, but a heads up, shipping is usually quite a bit. They pack their stuff very well and use dry ice to keep it cold.

I ended up buying a tiny freezer from wall mart to keep the rats in and so i can make fewer orders.

I am going to have to research how long they will keep so that I can figure an order size. I think I may have to just start a colony.

    Yep, this is definitely true...

    My last order was

    60 small rats @ .99 = $60
about 40 for shipping (includes dry ice, 2 day shipping, and insurance)
Total about $100, so about $1.67 a rat.

Now this was pretty cool, I had to get it shipped to work and they x-ray everything. Needless to say, the mail guy had a few questions why there were a ton of dead rats on the x-ray screen.

That is still cheaper for me, because ,my pet store charges 1.99 for a live mouse and 2.99 for rats. Thank goodness it's almost summer time. Hopefully I can get some extra babysitting jobs. My Mom said she will pay for half and the shipping. I am also saving up my summer sitting money for a black pastel that my mom has ALMOST talked my Dad into letting us get.

American Rodent is where it's at! They offer free shipping to certain states and have good quality feeders!
