    Inexpensive morphs
Ok...So I'm planning on getting a normal bp in June. But I would like to get another type of bp. I can find normals for $30-$50. I would like to stay under $130. WHats a good morph for that price or so?

pastels are probably the only visual morph, but you can get hets for around $100. They look just like normals, but cary the recessive gene for something else.

you might be able to pick up a male pastel for that price if you look around...

or a few choices of Hets or pos Hets. Not sure on the prices but I know you can pick up 100% Het hypo males for 50. Thats what I paid for my Het male.

I got my Pastel for 140, and my Yellowbelly for 85. So you could definitely get a YOUNG male for around that. :gj:

I got my pastel + tank for 120. Pastels are a good bet, same with YBs as the others have said.

By June, there will be lots of new '09 babies on the market. If you are willing to wait a little longer, the availability should go up even more, and that may mean prices go down.

For sure you'll be able to find a male pastel within your price range. If you look around a lot, you should even be able to find a fairly decent one, but probably not a great one.

A male spider is a possibility no one has mentioned yet. I have not yet seen spiders priced that low, but it would not surprise me to see them at those prices sometime this season.

Hopefully spiders won't drop that much. I'm afraid we're going to get a ton of very bad head wobbly spiders out there going for cheap and everyone's going to breed them, making the spider head wobble even worse...

Yeah, I hope they don't drop that much too. I'd like to see the prices of low end BPs start to go back up... after all, the price of raising them is going up.

But like it or not, it still would not surprise me.
