    My new racks.
    Hi all,

So I thought I would share a photo of my new racks (and myself) that I just finished building for my bp's. The process started about a year ago. Got the tubs, then the heat stuff, then waited a long time to get the wood this year. It took awhile but it is worth it in the end.

    Thanks for looking.

Ive built my own racks too and its quite satisfying when they are done...yours look great bro...Did you implement a window in each? What kind of tubs are they? And lastly what would you say that unit combined weighs? (looks heavy as hell...lol)

Are those cement mixing tubs? Seen them used a lot for rats but never snakes, good job, nice rack. Belly or back heat? How well does the heat work?, those tubs are pretty thick.

    Thanks for the comments guys.
The tubs are the mixing tubs. The windows are 1/8" plexi riveted in place. I used a rotary tool to make the hole. The heat is belly. I have a one foot piece of 11" flexwatt under each controlled with a herpstat set at 92. So far this is working very well. Each unit is wired separately from each other. They plug into each other. I do not have enough to fill it completely so this way I'm not heating tubs with nothing in them.
As for how heavy? Yeah the are a bit heavy. I think each of the 6 units required almost 2 sheets of 5/8 melamine. So 100 lbs each is probably not far off per unit.
