    Oby just shed...but only half his body
    I knew he would shed soon, and today when I got home he was rubbing his nose on his hide. I let him be. I just noticed he had torn his tank apart hides flipped and moved all that. So I looked in and there was one big piece of she, that was the eye caps and head down to about half way, a bunch of little pieces and that's it. As far as I can see the rest is still on him. What should I do. My humidity is 64 right now. Should I mist him?

    If he got the front half of his body off all in one piece, I'd think he'll be able to get the rest off ok. It certainly wouldn't hurt to mist the enclosure a little bit, but it probably isn't necessary, unless the humidity is low.

    If he does continue to have trouble and doesn't get the shed off by himself by tomorrow, you can help him along as described in this thread:

    I am going to be up peeping at him all night. His front half is so bright wow I am amazed; I can't wait to see him in the morning. I hope he ges it off. thanks for the link kc261
