my bp just shed for the third time and he shed everything but the top of his head and one eye cap.... humidity and temps are exact and at a constant... is this anything to be worried about.... we see him trying to rub it off and some of it has come off but he cant get the top of his head.... should i be worried or just wait til next time he sheds..... thanks guys

The stuck sheds to the head can be a pain, you could try to soak the snake in luke warm water first then try to remove the skin with a moist wash cloth.

I would just wait until next shed though, it won't cause it any harm and would be much less stressful than you trying to help remove it.

Is your humidity constant all the time, or do you bump it during shed? Mine stays between 50-55 and during shed I bump it to 70. My normal's last shed was perfect. Not even a break in the skin.

Before i soak i spray the bp down w. hot water in a spray bottle (it sprays barely warm). Try doing it twice a day for a couple days before you soak, and it should come off. You can also mist her down when you first notice shes about to shed (eyes getting opaque) and you should get a clean one every time. Use hot water though they hate the cold water.
