    Bringing 2 More Home
I was contacted tonight by a local vet who had 2 Ball's dropped off this evening in a box on his steps with a note asking him to find them a home.
So, tomorrow I will be going to the vet and picking them up. He hs already given them a checkup and a clean bill of health. One male and one female. I will post pics tomorrow when I get them home. That brings me up to 4 Balls and 1 Red Tail Boa....now I just need a 2nd Red tail and a Brazilian Rainbow Boa!

Sure do. I have 4 empty tanks already set at 62% humidity and temps set at 82 degrees on the cool side and 88 degrees on the warm side. I keep empty tanks ready 24/7 just for these purposes. I have alot of vets and pet stores call me with abandoned reptiles so I need to make sure I have everything ready to go at a moment's notice. I'll be getting 2 more tanks tomorrow with accessories to get set up for the next abandoned reptile.

Pics to follow later today when I get them home. I'm heading out now to pick them up.

They are both Normals. I couldn't get lucky enough to get morphs! LOL

I got them home a little while ago. Both are females, one being captive bred and the other wild caught. They have definitely not had the best of lives so far, that's for sure. One is definitely on the skinny side and needs to eat as soon as possible. The good news is they are free of mites and so forth. From my understanding the previous owner used Cyprus chips for bedding which I definitely am not in favor of.
I have handled both and both are very docile and easy to handle. Unfortunately both were housed together prior to today, but that has changed now. I will get pics posted later tonight when I get the batteries in my digital camera recharged.

On a sidenote, I also brought home a Bearded Dragon that was given to my vet as well. He also got a clean checkup, but I'm not convinced he had the best of homelife's either. Needless to say, I have got my hands full with the new additions to the family.

I wish my vet would give me all the reptile hand me downs of around town, that would be awesome lol!

Good luck with them, post pics and keep us updated! :)

That is great! It is people like you who make this life worthwhile. With all the grief going on, and the thought of loosing our animals forever, it is nice to read up on some miracles every now and then. :D

The vet called this morning. One of the pythons has a parasite infection that showed in the fecal study that was done. So, he goes back to the vet in a few minutes for further treatment and medicine.
The Bearded Dragon is also sick and will need extensive meds and care to bring back to full health. Obviously these pets were not cared for the way they should have been. On top of that, the previous owner had them housed together so I will end up giving the other snake preventive meds to ensure she doesn't get sick as well. Looks like ti might be a long road to recovery for these pets. :(
