    baby isn't eating
We got a baby (probably late 08) sinaloan in January. She was eating frozen pinks with no problem, but she hasn't eaten in 4 weeks now. The other two we got at the same time are doing wonderfully. Is she young enough that I need to worry?

Have you started to notice any weight loss or decrease of activity? If so how bad? Also are you're conditions in the range of what they should be?

conditions are just right, all three are set up the same. She's climbing her vines at times so she's not inactive. She isn't growing like the others (but they are eating....)

As long as she's not showing weight loss and all that I would just keep offering once a week, if she doesn't eat in 2 weeks then maybe I would take more drastic measure's. Do you feed her in her enclosure or seperate?

Before you try today, try something new perhaps, get a brown paper bag from the store, put him in with the mouse. Let him be for about 15-30 mins, then check up on him. That's a trick I use for problem feeders, and it often works.

well, she's already in with one, trying to feed live today. But if she doesn't eat, I'll try this in 4 days. thanks so much!!! I have to go to work, or I'd move them both now.

well, she didn't eat. I weighed her and one of the others and she weighs 10gr and the other 20gr. (as best I can get them to stay still and let the scale settle)

Alright we need pictures of your setup and everything.

    How is she kept tank/tub
    temps
how your measuring temps and humidity
    how many hides
    type of bedding

When ever having problem feeders ALWAYS drop down to a tub for a while to get them eating again and feed in the enclosure/tub. This makes them feel secure by recognizing the smells around him/her and willing to eat.

and for colubrids i feed every 5 days for a year slightly larger meals as they digest 10 times faster than the average boa and python.

DONT OFFER HER FOOD AGAIN TILL SUNDAY NIGHT. and offer it when its dark use a flash light to see.

You may want to get a fecal done too. Sounds like yours has got some nasties inside.

    Pics would help.
