I let mine sit in water for a minute or two if they were slithering in their poo poo but other then that, no I don't bathe my snakes.

Scale rot is from a dirty/too moist enclosure. If you have dry substrate down all the time and he's on clean substrate you have nothing to worry about..
A bath would not do anything to prevent scale rot in my opinion, more or less, it could make it worse.

You don't have to give your snake a bath. I on the other hand will run some water for my snakes and let them slither around for a few minutes, more so my anaconda then my rufous. My anaconda I let her do it weekly, my rufous just once in awhile. I just keep a close eye on the rufous and he gets the sink. I monitor my anaconda but umm, she can probably swim better then me. lol

I will spot clean mine "as needed" during the week. Sunday is feed and clean day. While the snake is in the feed tub I will clean out the tank and disinfect everything and change the substrate. Except this week he is going in to shed so I will wait for the shed to finish but as soon as it's done I will be in there. Especially from having the humidity cranked up for the shed...

Some people will do a thorough cleaning only once a month, but I figure, since I already have the snake out, I might as well go ahead and do it. Plus if you use a substrate like Aspen or Coco-soft, the pee stains don't show very well so I prefer a more frequent cleaning in case I missed something

I spot clean as needed. I do any cleaning while my snake is in her feed tub.

I put my snakes in the bath tub every once in awhile. Some seem to enjoy the swim others just try to get out.
