When it rains it pours and its pouring buckets
march 18 2009 my dad passed away. in no way am i looking for sympathy about this story just want to show people how time really does pass. well about a month before that my friend my and him were outside ripping the pool down in the back yard. well now its April 17th, four days after my dad passed my mom started having stroke like symptoms well found out she had to have a mass removed from her brain now shes doing good and now is in rehab and will be returning home on tuesday, but its just time goes so fast. please take what im saying right now after this story with all seriousness.
Take every moment you have in life and enjoy it with the ones you love, your friends, and family. you never know when something will happen. the people that may hate you or you may hate there's not point you don't have to be friends but at least tolerate each other. no time for hate appreciate everything and everyone no matter what they may bring, give you, present you with, or even a simple greeting enjoy it and remeber life is fragile.
Re: When it rains it pours and its pouring buckets
My condolences for the loss...and I'm glad your mom is doing better.
I hear you totally on the time passing thing. I moved to Denver in July 05 with my BF and we can't believe it's already nearly 4 years. We almost lost everything two years ago (luckily recovered), and now he's got a new job that's paying more than either of us have ever had.
On the flip side, I just learned that, thanks to government messes here in CO, I can no longer attend college. My half of the income came from financial aid loans and grants, and now I won't be able to get enough back for living expenses after paying a highly inflated tuition with a serious reduction in aid. So our income went up AND down at the same time! But we should be ok. :)
The message is a good one: Always treasure and keep close the things that REALLY matter in life - loved ones, dear and true friends - because you never know what could happen, and time has a way of speeding by.

Thank you for the condolences. And I hope everything works out for you for the college loans, I'm sure it will. it sucks being on the bottom of the barrel but once your out and on top it feels good.
Re: When it rains it pours and its pouring buckets
You got loves from me, you know it. :) Thanks for the help with my birthday present!

College loans suck. I'm glad I don't have any schooling costs that I still have to repay.
However once my girl gets into med school(crossing fingers) we're looking at something like 10+ years of paying off THAT..
Re: When it rains it pours and its pouring buckets

Re: When it rains it pours and its pouring buckets
My thoughts are with you and your family, and thanks for the message. I have been there, not really with with family deaths, but I have spent many nights in the hospital waiting for the worst and hoping for the best.
It gets better, hang in there ..

When you look at anywhere from 40-80 grand a year, 4-6(if not more) years of schooling BEYOND an expensive 4 year undergrad.. That's not even taking into account any specialization. Your average doctor accumulates around a half million dollars in debt or something like that before they start getting paid.
Regardless, great posts here. Everyone needs to remember to live it up and enjoy life to the fullest extent. Appreciate what we have, especially our loved ones.
