How Long Do I Let Him Go?
I have an 8 month male Spider that weighs 414g today. He hasn't eaten in 14 days (3 meals offered). He was 449g on 4/8.
I know they go off feed, but prior to this he would NEVER miss a meal. I'm concerned about his age and weight.
My temps are good and consistant. No URI. He does have some spots on his head from what I think is rubbing. Everyone else is eating just fine.
Stool looks normal, but I may be taking in a sample next time he goes, just to make sure.
I've tried different foods and pre-scenting.
How long should I let him go before I take action? And what action should I take?
    Thank you!!!!

How long have you had him? Has he defecated (which could account for the weight loss)

    I've had him since October.
He has had 1 defectation on 4-12. )His last meal was 4-3)
His last shed was 2-28, he should be due, but hasn't opaqued.
    He is active.
    Thank you.

My boy hasn't eaten since sometime in January but sheds on a regular basis
His temps, humidity and husbandry is perfect

Keep in mind that males tend to be picky eaters
    Especially during the breeding season

I'm hoping he starts eating soon but I wouldn't be too concerned unless he's losing a significant amount of weight

I'd say that if he doesn't eat sometime in the next 2 months, try an assist feed or take him to the vet

    I'm sure it's no biggy =]

Good luck, let us know how it goes

Should I be worried due to his age/weight, or is it pretty normal for all BP's to go off feeding?

B/P's can go off feed at any age. As was said earlier, give it a few more weeks. If you notice irregular behavior, signs of a respiratory infection or other health related issues, get him to your vet immediately. Alot of times health issues also affect a snake's desire to feed.
It sounds like you spend alot of time with your pet and know him very well. You will know if something's not right health-wise. Just try a once-a-week feeding, but don't try to force him to eat. Trying to force him can induce more stress which will affect his appetite even more than it already is. Patience is the key here. ;)

My guy/gal hasnt eaten since first of April. Before that once a week like clockwork. No changes to settings other than cleaning and wants to come out. Shows no interest in food at all. Dont know age. When do you start to worry.
